There are many companies soliciting power for energy choice (your choice to choose an electric supplier). Many of the companies don't quote an "all in rates" so there are hidden charges many times. Others have contracts and cancellation fees. They buy power on the open market at the cheapest rate from fossil fuel driven companies.
